Afzal Ansari.
SP MP from Ghazipur Afzal Ansari has once again made a big statement regarding the death of his younger brother mafia Mukhtar Ansari. During a press conference in Ghazipur, Afzal Ansari called the death of Mukhtar Ansari a murder. He has said that Mukhtar Ansari’s death was a government-sponsored murder.
SP MP Afzal Ansari said that Mukhtar Ansari was killed in an attempt to protect the big mafia (Brijesh Singh, Tribhuvan Singh) who were growing in the lap of the government. Afzal Ansari said that Mukhtar’s testimony would have punished those mafias. He said that ‘Mukhtar has been killed in judicial custody, the government and media have been treating it as a heart attack since the beginning. Although the matter is pending in the Supreme Court, the decision will be taken there.
Attack on Mukhtar Ansari’s convoy
Actually in the year 2001 Mukhtar Ansari’s caravan was attacked. In which three people including Mukhtar’s government gunner were killed. After which Mukhtar Ansari filed a case against Brijesh Singh in Muhammadabad police station. Mukhtar Ansari was to testify in this case.
Case filed after 23 years
Afzal Ansari further said that if Mukhtar Ansari had testified in the ongoing case against that mafia, the situation would have been different. All the witnesses in that case were framed as accused. He said that a case is being filed after 23 years in the same incident which took place in 2001. Witnesses were then forced not to testify. Because he is a mafia leader raised by the government.
The government has not conducted a separate investigation
The case of Mukhtar’s death is still in the Supreme Court and whichever party has to appear in this matter will be presented in the court. He said that any custodial death in India has provision for a magisterial inquiry, but the Uttar Pradesh government has not conducted any separate inquiry. In the case of custodial death, if someone dies because of TV, a real inquest will be conducted by a Magistrate. This check is done so that what is wrong and what is right can be stopped.
