Three children drowned in the ditch

Three innocent children have died in a tragic incident in Madhya Pradesh’s Shivpuri district. Nomadic families live in a settlement outside the village, where some children were playing and ditches made nearby were filled with water due to rain. The children while playing fell into the ditch and drowned. The police reached the spot and recovered the bodies of the children. All administrative officials reached the spot. The family members were persuaded to do the postmortem of the children but they categorically refused. After which the doctor was called to the spot and examined. After this, the family started preparations for the children’s funeral.

According to information, this tragic accident took place in Niwoda village of Kolaras police station area. Before Diwali, ocher clay, potni etc. are used to plaster the mud houses of the village. In such a situation, people of Banjara society dig this soil and sell it in every village. In fact, the people of the Banjara community dug this soil behind their houses built outside the village. Pits created by digging soil filled with water during rains. On Saturday, while the children of the village were playing near these pits, three of them drowned in the deep water. After this the children could not come back out. Other children who were playing with him went to the village and informed about this. After this the villagers reached the spot and pulled the children out of the water and brought them to the hospital.

Only brother died

Three children, including 10-year-old Neeraj Banjara, have died due to drowning. Neeraj was the only brother among his six sisters. After Neeraj’s death, there is mourning in the village. After being pulled out of the water, some people felt that the child was breathing. On this the villagers again took the child to the hospital in the tehsildar’s car, but on the way they learned that the child had died. He was then brought back on the road.

After getting information about the incident, SDM Anup Srivastav, SDOP Vijay Yadav, Tehsildar Sachin Bhargava, TI Ajay Jat reached the village and asked about the postmortem of the children. But the villagers did not believe this and started beating. Collector Ravindra Kumar Choudhary also reached Niwoda after receiving information about the death of three children in Niwoda village. He also asked for PM but the villagers did not agree, then Dr. Vivek Sharma was called to the village and a formal autopsy was performed on the children. After this, the dead bodies of the children were handed over to the relatives.
