Accused Panchayat Secretary
Madhya Pradesh’s Gwalior police has arrested a panchayat secretary on charges of indecency with female students. Accused panchayat secretary Rakesh Sharma was stationed in Kethi village and used to stop passing girls and show obscene movies on mobile phones. When the girls objected to this, the accused defamed them and threatened to kill them. The victim girls have lodged a complaint with the police. Seeing the seriousness of the matter, the police have also arrested the accused panchayat secretary. The police are investigating the matter.
According to Gwalior Police, accused Rakesh Sharma is posted as Gram Panchayat Secretary Kaithi. Every day he used to stop schoolgirls and other girls returning from school near the court grounds and engage in lewd acts with them. He was trying to show pornographic videos to these girls. A student has filed a complaint in Antri police station regarding this. The complaint states that he along with three of his friends go to study coaching in Tamat Vahan.
The students wrote a complaint to the police
After coming home from coaching two days ago, she was standing near the court ground waiting for a gig. In the meantime accused Gram Panchayat Secretary Rakesh Sharma came there and on some pretext talked to him and started showing obscene movies on mobile phone. When these students protested, the accused threatened to kill and humiliate them and fled from there. After this the girls reached home and informed her family members about the matter and then filed a written complaint with the police along with her family members.

The victims have also complained to the District Panchayat Bhitarwar. After this, Zilla Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Vivek Kumar has suspended accused Rakesh Sharma with immediate effect. At the same time, Antari police station registered a case against the accused panchayat secretary and arrested him. According to the police, the mobile phone of the accused has been seized and sent to the forensic lab for investigation.
