Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav took several important decisions simultaneously on Friday. He said that the work of higher education institutions should be done according to the rules. The authorities of the colleges and universities should ensure necessary arrangements in the interest of the students. Madhya Pradesh has been at the forefront of implementing the new education policy. Therefore, continuous focus on quality and better management of education is important.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav during a meeting with senior officials regarding the activities of the higher education department said that excellent colleges are being started in the state, which will be the face of the education system of the state. For these colleges to be recognized as model educational centers for other states of the country, the higher education department along with other concerned departments, local administration, students, parents and citizens have to play a conscious role.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that a drone policy should be made in the state. Higher education, industry, agriculture and other related sectors should formulate strategies for drone use and training. Subjects like aviation and artificial intelligence are gaining interest among the youth. So good education system of such subjects should be ensured. Recently the country’s first helicopter pilot training school has been started in Khajuraho.

He said the state government is trying to arrange degree and diploma courses through pilot training institutes and universities near where the airstrips are located. This initiative will promote employment oriented education in the state and also attract investment. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Indian Knowledge Tradition Center will also be opened in every PM College of Excellence. Necessary arrangements should be made for this.

PM College of Excellence will start

This year it was decided to establish Prime Minister’s College of Excellence in all the districts of the state. Under the National Education Policy, the state government has approved the establishment of one Prime Minister’s College of Excellence in all the districts of the state. Approval has also been given for additional posts in select colleges to establish Prime Minister’s College of Excellence in 55 districts of the state. Necessary budget has also been made available.
