A heated argument broke out between the SDM and the advocate.

In Madhya Pradesh’s Shajapur, despite the stay order of the court, the administration took action by rushing the JCB to the shops of Gopal Gaushala. On which the officials had to face public opposition and had to stop the action. The administration issued a notice to vacate the 16 shops of Gopal Gaushala built on New Road as dilapidated within 24 hours, on which the shopkeepers took a stay order from the court.

The Shajapur court granted a stay order in the matter, but still on Wednesday SDM Manisha Vaskal, Municipal Officer Madhu Saxena reached the spot along with the police force and razed the two shops to the ground using bulldozers. Apart from this, other shopkeepers were also asked to immediately withdraw the goods from the shops and asked to take action. As soon as the shopkeepers got the information about this, they were outraged and their representative Narendra Tiwari reached the spot and protested the administration’s action as wrong.

Condemnation of administrative officers

The shopkeepers’ representative told the authorities many things. The video of this incident has also surfaced. In the video, it is seen that the representatives are continuously shouting harsh words at the officers. Disturbed by the vandalism of the shop, lawyer Narendra told the officials, ‘Shame on you… your house will also be demolished… you people are destroying the houses of the poor’. The lawyer shouted at the administrative officers and asked, Is this your father’s secret? This whole drama went on for a long time.

A stay order was obtained from the court

Advocate Narendra Tiwari said a stay order was granted on the district court’s order to demolish the shops but officials are taking arbitrary action for which a contempt case will be filed. Then the SDM and Municipal Corporation officials also seem to be avoiding to say anything in this matter. Now after this incident, there is a lot of anger among the shopkeepers and the shopkeepers of the surrounding area are also supporting them. The administration was able to demolish only two-three shops, after which the authorities had to take back the JCB as the controversy escalated.
