Train accident in Jabalpur
A major train accident has occurred in Madhya Pradesh’s Jabalpur. Two coaches of Somnath Express derailed here. Somnath Express was coming from Indore to Jabalpur when the train derailed near the main railway station. Railway officials say that the speed of the train was very slow due to its proximity to the railway station. Had the speed been higher, the accident could have been quite damaging.
The Ratri Express running between Indore and Jabalpur derailed at around 5.50 am. Two coaches of the train derailed after coming too close to the main railway station, causing panic among passengers. All the passengers were hurriedly disembarked from the train. As soon as the information about the accident was received, the senior officials and employees of the railways reached the spot and started the relief work.
There was an accident at Jabalpur main station
According to information, two coaches of an overnight express between Indore and Jabalpur derailed when it was about to reach the main railway station in Jabalpur. Officials say that the speed of the train was 5 km per hour, so there was no major accident, but the accident did not happen. The reason behind will be checked for sure. Sandeep Kumar, a passenger, said he was resting in the coach. During this time, there were some jerks as if the brakes were applied too quickly. By the time I could understand anything, the train had stopped. However, for a while it also looked as if there had been an accident. After this the train stopped for a long time. After some time when I got down from the coach and looked outside, two coaches of the AC coach had derailed.
