These days, a video of a blood bank in Madhya Pradesh’s Panna district is going viral on social media, in which a lab technician is seen discriminating between Hindus and Muslims in the name of donating blood to a woman. Former Chief Minister and current Rajya Sabha MP Digvijay Singh has also attacked the Mohan Yadav government over this viral video. The viral video is said to be from the month of June, which is now going viral.
Suresh Sonkar, a resident of Nardaha village in Panna district, works to sell utensils. Suresh is about 58 years old. Suresh’s mother Ramabai was admitted to the hospital, when the doctor asked Suresh to donate blood to his mother Ramabai. Suresh’s friend agreed to donate blood on his request.
How can a Muslim donate blood?
Suresh also reached the hospital with his friend. The doctor referred him to the hospital’s blood bank. After reaching the blood bank, Suresh asked the lab technician present there to take his blood and transfuse it to my mother. Lab technician Ravikant Sharma on hearing the name of the blood donor said that he is a Muslim, while your mother is a Hindu. How can one give them this blood?

The lab technician gave the explanation in writing
In this whole matter, the civil surgeon of the district hospital, Dr. Alok Gupta said that this case is on June 22 this year. A case came to light on behalf of a lab technician saying some things about Hindus and Muslims. We saw the notice to the technician and asked for a reply. The technician also gave his answer in writing. According to the technician, he asked who the donor was. The patient’s attendant said that the donor was his brother, but he was a Muslim.
Later the blood of the Muslim youth was drawn
Later, when we found out that the donor was a friend of Teamardar Suresh Sonkar, we took his blood. However, when the civil surgeon was asked whether any action was taken against the behavior of the lab technician, he said that only a notice was issued and a warning to take further action. The entire matter is pending with the CMHO. TV9 does not confirm this viral video of a digital lab technician.
