Jailed Kashmiri leader Sheikh Abdul Rashid alias Engineer Rashid in the Jammu-Kashmir terrorist funding case has got a big relief. Rashid was granted interim bail by a special NIA court in Delhi on Tuesday. He has got this bail to campaign in the upcoming assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir, under which the court has granted him interim bail till October 2.
Sheikh Abdul Rashid popularly known as Engineer Rashid defeated former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah in Baramulla in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
