The police busted a robbery gang in Uttar Pradesh’s Lucknow. It is being told that this gang used to carry out robberies by taking passengers in autos. The case is from Chinhat police station area. Where the auto driver robbed the youth at gunpoint on the pretext of giving a ride and also beat him up. After the matter came to light, the police started an investigation and then everything came out.
The police identified the accused by his auto. Based on which they reached the robbers and arrested them. Indeed, there was a mustache on the auto through which the police reached him. The police recovered the stolen mobile phone, gold ring and cash of Rs. 680 have been captured. Three teams, including the crime team headed by DCP East Shashank Singh, investigated the case. The robbery incident took place on August 10
DCP East Shashank Singh said that on August 10, a youth named Shohit Singh was robbed. Four people put her in an auto and then raped her at gunpoint. A case was registered in this matter at Chinhat Police Station. He said that three teams, including the crime team, had been appointed to investigate the case. During this time several CCTV footages were checked and electronic surveillance was also used. After which all the four accused were arrested.
