Youth beaten up in Zharukhar police station
A shocking incident has come to light in Bihar’s Motihari police station, where the villagers have surrounded the Zarokhar police station after the death of a youth in the police station. The police have even lathi-charged the villagers who surrounded the police station, but the villagers are still adamant. The villagers alleged that Nanhak Rai died due to police beating.
The police received information that Ramsurat Rai, watchman of Jharokhar police station, had a land dispute with Nanhak Rai of the same village. The watchman brought Nanhak Rai to the police station yesterday morning on charges of motorcycle theft and Nanhak died under suspicious circumstances in the custody of Jharokhar police station during the night. Regarding the death in the police station, the police say that he committed suicide by hanging himself with his shirt.
Family accused of murder?
On this claim of the police, the villagers are questioning that why would Nanhak commit suicide out of necessity? The police claim that he was sentenced to life imprisonment for stealing a motorcycle or committed suicide at the police station. Villagers question how a tall and muscular man would commit suicide in a police station with a shirt on. According to the police, cameras have been installed in the police station. The whole truth of this matter must have been caught on camera. At present, the police have not been able to see the CCTV footage.
