A strange case has come to light in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. The blood group of a woman admitted to the Katju Hospital here became the destiny of her child. The situation reached a stage that this woman had 9 abortions in 12 years. Finally, doctors found a unique way to give women the joy of motherhood. In which, when the woman became pregnant for the 10th time, her uterus was closed. The antibodies that were being produced due to the woman’s blood group were blocked with the help of the injection. After doing this, now the woman has been safely delivered.

According to the team of the State of Center for Preventive Gynecology and Infertility at Katju Hospital, the woman was getting pregnant, but after three months of pregnancy, the woman’s own blood group became the blood group of her baby. In fact, this woman had an antibody (immunity) forming in her blood, which was destroying the red blood cells of the fetus growing in her womb. Due to which the woman used to miscarry in three months.

The mother’s blood group was negative but the child’s blood group was positive.

The team doctors said that the blood group of the woman was Rh negative, while the blood group of her unborn child was Rh positive. In such cases, the immune system built up in the woman’s body proves fatal to her own child. According to doctors, there were many other obstacles to a woman’s safe delivery. One obstacle to this was that the mouth of the woman’s womb was too small. Not only was there a risk of miscarriage, there was also a possibility of difficulty in delivery.
