The Meteorological Department said that monsoon has reached Maharashtra on June 6. It will hit Mumbai soon. The Meteorological Department said that monsoon is likely to reach Mumbai between June 9 and 10. The weather is still hot in Delhi-UP. In such a situation, people here are eager to know when the monsoon will arrive in their state.

When will monsoon knock in Delhi?

Regarding the entry of monsoon in UP-Delhi, the Meteorological Department said that the monsoon will knock in Delhi till June 27. It will be preceded by light pre-monsoon rains, which is likely to bring relief to the people of Delhi. Uttar Pradesh is currently in the grip of extreme heat. Some parts of UP have received light thundershowers and rains, but no relief from the storm.

When will monsoon enter UP?

The Meteorological Department said that on June 7, there will be light rain at some places in UP, with possibility of storm. Regarding the entry of monsoon in UP, the Meteorological Department said that the monsoon will enter UP from Varanasi or Gorakhpur between June 18 and 20. Monsoon may arrive in the capital Lucknow around June 24 to 25, followed by good rains.

Chance of rain for next 5 days

The weather forecast issued by the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) last Thursday said, “Many states of the country are likely to receive heavy rainfall in the next 5 days. Dust storms may occur over Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi on June 7. The Meteorological Department said that a cyclonic system has formed over the northwest region of Madhya Pradesh, which is associated with Turf extending to West Bengal. Its impact will be seen in Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal. There may be light rain here for the next two-three days.
