Netflix has announced a documentary on SS Rajamouli, the director who made blockbuster films like Baahubali The Beginning, Baahubali The Conclusion and RRR. The documentary, which showcases Rajamouli’s vision of filmmaking, will be streamed on OTT platform Netflix on August 2. The documentary film is titled Modern Masters: SS Rajamouli.

Film critic Anupama Chopra will introduce the documentary and tell how Rajamouli revolutionized Indian cinema with his vision and made a name for himself worldwide. Hollywood media reports say that the documentary will feature actors like James Cameron, Joe Russo, Karan Johar, Prabhas, Jr. NTR, Rana Duggubati and Ram Charan talking about SS Rajamouli.

This documentary will be of 74 minutes i.e. one hour and 14 minutes. In which Rajamouli’s behind the scene footage will be shown. There will also be interviews with many famous people, who will be seen talking about Rajamouli’s personality and his work.

Baahubali and RRR made him famous

Rajamouli started his career as a director in the year 2001. According to IMDB, he made his debut with the film Student No. 1. So far he has directed 12 films, most of which have been hits. However, Baahubali The Beginning released in 2015 suddenly made him famous across the country. After this film, he made Baahubali The Conclusion, which broke all the box office records.

However, Rajamouli rose to international fame with the 2022 film RRR. The film featured Ram Charan and Jr. NTR in lead roles. The film grossed a lot and was appreciated all over the world. The special thing is that this film also won the Oscar Award in the Best Original Song category.
