On the Ajit group’s protest over the demolition of Shivaji’s statue and the breakdown in the Mahayuti, he said that we are all saddened after this incident. PM apologized. Expressing feelings has led to a flare-up in the Mahayuti. It is not right to say so.

Jitesh Antapurkar has been expelled from the party by the Congress

On the other hand, Maharashtra Congress president Nana Patole said on Friday that the party has expelled its MLAs Jeeshan Siddiqui and Jitesh Antapurkar. He did not give details of the reasons for expelling Zeeshan Siddiqui and Antapurkar, but the action comes more than a month after seven Congress MLAs contested biennial elections for 11 Legislative Council seats.

Responding to a question about Jeeshan Siddiqui and Antapurkar, Patole said there was no point in commenting on the two MLAs as they have been expelled by the party. Zeeshan Siddiqui was elected from Bandra (East) in Mumbai, while Antapurkar represented Degalur in Nanded district. Jeeshan Siddiqui’s father Baba Siddiqui joined the Ajit Pawar-led NCP before the Lok Sabha elections. Assembly elections are to be held in Maharashtra in November.
