A robbery at a jewelry store
A robbery incident has come to light in a jewelery shop in Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand. At gunpoint, the criminals extorted from the jeweler’s shop an estimated Rs. 1 crore 40 lakh worth of jewelery and Rs. 3 lakh cash was looted and fled. During this incident, the businessman was shot. Jagannathpur Police Station and Hatia DSP Pramod Kumar Mishra reached the spot as soon as the information was received. A police officer said that the CCTV camera footage installed in the shop has been examined. Soon all the criminals will be caught by the police.
The jewelery shop run by the criminals at Birsa Chowk in Jagannathpur, Ranchi. Om Verma owns a shop here called DP Jewellers. The robbers robbed the shop of jewelery at gunpoint. The injured Om Verma was admitted to the hospital for treatment. The police said that the incident was carried out by four criminals.
The incident of robbery was captured in CCTV cameras. The CCTV footage shows that the criminals are wearing helmets. They also kill bystanders. The criminals are seen keeping all the jewelry one by one. Meanwhile, one of the criminals shot the owner of the shop, Om Verma.

This is not the first incident of robbery at a jewelery shop in Ranchi. Prior to today’s incident, on the 13th of this month, around three robbers looted jewelery worth lakhs of rupees at gunpoint from a shop named New Panchvati Jewelers in Pandara OP Police Station area of ​​Ranchi.
