Actor Anjum Sharma has played the character of Sharad in this series. In an interview with Entertainment Live, he was asked what kinds of theories are coming his way regarding Season 4. On this he said, “The biggest theory going around right now is that Sharad is not gone, he is there. This is a conspiracy between Kalin Bhaiyya and Sharad. He said that, there are also talks that, ‘Where there is a bullet, Kalin Bhaiyya has shot in such a place that he gets injured but survives.’
Anjum also says that people also say that the look that Kaalin Bhaiyya is giving at the end definitely means something and Kaalin Bhaiyya even makes the policemen put down their guns. Why do they do this? There is something behind this. However, how much truth is there in these fan theories? Can this really happen? All such questions will be answered in Season 4 itself.
Auditioned for the role of Munna Bhaiya
Anjum Sharma’s entry in ‘Mirzapur’ was in the first season. However, he had a very small role in that season. But, his character was expanded in the second season and he became a claimant to the throne in the third season. Earlier in another interview, Anjum had talked about her casting. He said that when he came to know that such a series was being made, he auditioned for the role of Munna. However, he did not have the aura required for the character. He also said that if he had been a selector himself, he would have rejected himself.

He also said that a policeman is introduced in the 5th to 6th episode of the first season, he tried for that role as well, but an older actor wanted to play that role, so the case was not accepted. Later the makers offered him the role of Sharad and he agreed to do the role.
