He made this claim regarding the Waqf (Amendment) Bill, 2024 introduced in the Lok Sabha recently. He says that he will not allow injustice to be done to minorities.

The NCP chief reached Dhule in the state on Monday, where he addressed the Jan Samman Yatra. Meanwhile, he said, ‘The central government has brought a new bill (Waqf (Amendment) Bill, 2024). The bill has been referred to the JPC, which comprises MPs from both the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha. This JPC will have MPs from both opposition and ruling parties.

Ajit Pawar said, ‘NCP has decided that if you have any concerns about this bill, we will listen to your concerns. We will not allow any kind of injustice to minorities. I appeal to you all not to believe any rumour. We will not allow injustice to anyone.

Regarding women, Ajit Pawar said, ‘We have brought a new Ladli Brahmin Yojana for the women of the state. Women of the state have faith in NCP. Elections will be held in November and a new government will be formed in December. We have to continue this scheme forward so I request you all to support Mahayuti and its respective MLA candidates. We have decided that the college education of EWS and backward class women will be fully sponsored from this academic year.

Ajit Pawar’s life in danger

At the same time, it was said yesterday that the life of the Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra is in danger, after which he reached Dhule the next day i.e. today. The police and administration had made tight security arrangements for his visit and he was seen in alert mode. After the information received from the intelligence department, the police have increased the security of Ajit Pawar. On his threat, Minister Anil Patil said that Ajit Pawar is working among the people because he is a Lok Sevak. Ajit Pawar has received death threats, but we are not afraid of such threats.

This time uncle-nephew face to face

Elections are going to be held in Maharashtra in a few months. There is talk that elections may be held in November. This time uncle Sharad Pawar and nephew Ajit Pawar will face each other. Both factions of the NCP are busy formulating their respective strategies and are on continuous election tours. Ajit Pawar’s party NCP has started Samman Yatra, while Sharad Chandra Pawar’s party NCP has started Shiv Swarajya Yatra. Through these two meetings, both the groups are accusing each other. On the other hand, MNS president Raj Thackeray is also raising the political temperature in the state.
