On the eve of Independence Day in UP’s Gazipur, a Partition Vibhishka Memorial Day was organized by the Bharatiya Janata Party at the District Panchayat Hall. Uttar Pradesh Government Transport Minister Dayashankar Singh participated as the chief guest in the event. While the program was going on in the district panchayat hall and their vehicle was parked outside, an entire family of Devaithan village in Zamania tehsil, consisting of two girls, a woman, a youth and the head of the family Navjadik Yadav. He slept in front of his vehicle and started making serious allegations against the police.
He alleged that his Patidars had beaten him up on August 11 over a land dispute and that when he went to the police station to complain, the police did not register his case. When these people returned home, all these people were beaten up again, though the police did not take any action. After this all these people came to apply to the Superintendent of Police. But the Superintendent of Police was not present in the office and the transport minister’s program was going on in the adjacent district panchayat hall and these people saw the minister’s car and slept in front of his car and started demanding justice.

Head of the victim’s family Navjadik Yadav, who reached the district headquarters today along with the entire family to demand justice, said that his Patidars Tarakeshwar Yadav, Gupteshwar and others started arguing about cutting the farm medicine at 12:00 on August 11. On learning this, his wife refused to do all this. The Patidar then started abusing and threatening to kill, on hearing which the daughters and sons of his family also went to the spot and protested. The bandits then got together and beat him with sticks and seriously injured him.

His wife also suffered a head injury. The Patidars did not agree with this and surrounded their houses and stopped them from going to the police. The victims alleged that they called the police, after the police arrived at the house, an ambulance was called for everyone. After this he went to the police station. A report was not lodged at the police station at that time, after which they all went home and then on Wednesday once again the bandits killed and injured their daughter, son and wife. After this, he came to meet the Superintendent of Police, but as the Superintendent of Police was not available, he slept in front of the Uttar Pradesh government minister’s car and demanded justice from him.
What did Minister Dayashankar Singh say?
As soon as the information was received that the minister was lying in front of the car, the police administration panicked and area officers Sadar Sudhakar Pandey and Sadar Kotwal Deendayal Pandey reached the spot. All the injured were forcibly taken in their cars to the district hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, when the women did not want to go with them, a lady constable was called and all were forcibly taken to the hospital in a car. When this whole matter was discussed with the Transport Minister Daya Shankar Singh, he said that he had no information about it.
