The Maharashtra assembly elections are scheduled to be held by the end of this year. Meanwhile, Manoj Jarange Patil, who is constantly fighting for reservation for the Maratha community, has announced to field a candidate in the upcoming elections. Along with this, he has boosted new activity in the state. He believes that Maratha community should get reservation in OBC quota based on Kunbi certificate. Their displeasure is that the government has not yet given reservation to the Maratha community. In such a situation, he opened a front against the government and announced to field candidates on 288 seats in the upcoming assembly elections.
On the other hand, BJP leader Ramesh Pokle has met Maratha agitator Manoj Jarange Patil. After meeting Manoj Jarange, he has demanded to contest for assembly from Beed city. BJP Kisan Morcha state vice-president Ramesh Pokal has met Manoj Jarange and expressed his desire to contest assembly elections. Ramesh Pokal contested from BJP from the graduate seat. Now Ramesh Pokle is willing to contest from Beed assembly seat.
Ramesh Pokle upset at the neglect
Talking to the media, Ramesh Pokle has made several allegations against the BJP. He said that even after working for years in BJP, I am not getting a chance. There is no consensus in the BJP on the issue of Maratha reservation. Those who work for people do not get respect. Workers of other parties have been given posts. The work of giving this post was done in the last five years. But people working honestly in the party are being ignored.
Joined the Maratha movement in 2019
Ramesh Pokle said that since 2019 I am working in the Maratha movement. We are participating in the movement started by Manoj Jarange Patil. Fadnavis has solved some of the problems of the society but the government is taking this step because of the promise made to the Maratha community. I can see it clearly.
