The BJP targeted West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s surprise visit to the protest site of junior doctors protesting against the case of rape and murder of a trainee doctor at RG Kar Medical College in Kolkata. BJP said that CM Mamata made this visit to sow seeds of doubt among doctors and take photographs.
BJP leader Amit Malviya hit out at West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee saying that the Chief Minister calls the protesting junior doctors for meetings and makes them wait. Malviya said that CM Mamata has rejected doctors’ request for live streaming, due to which the deadlock continues. After this, she came uninvited to the protest site with a media team, but did not agree to the students’ demand for transparency.
Another time Mamata Banerjee calls the protesting junior doctors for a meeting and makes them wait. The standoff continues as she declines his request for live streaming. Why should the Chief Minister of Bengal descend on the protest site, uninvited, with a horde of media, but not agree?

In fact, amid the ongoing impasse, Mamata Banerjee on Saturday suddenly reached the protest site of the junior doctors and assured them that she would attend to their demands and take action against whoever was found guilty. Mamata Banerjee said that she will not take any action against him as she does not believe in suppressing the democratic movement.
He said that doctors are protesting on the road amid the rains, due to which they cannot sleep at night. The CM told the doctors that I have not come to meet you as Chief Minister but as your sister.
In this regard, Amit Malviya, co-in-charge of BJP in West Bengal, said on Twitter that Mamata Banerjee visited the protest site of junior doctors on her way to Swasthya Bhawan, gave a five-minute speech, but during this time, Dr. They raised slogans for justice. He claimed that the Chief Minister neither spoke nor listened to the protesting doctors.
Malviya said that this was just a photo opportunity in the media to sow seeds of doubt among the doctors. The BJP leader accused Mamata Banerjee of being evil and said that she should be severely condemned for this. He said that he clearly has no intention to bring justice to the RG Kar Medical College rape and murder victim and resolve the impasse. Their arrogance is hurting the public health care sector of West Bengal.
