CM Mohan Yadav celebrating Shri Krishna Janmashtami

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has extended his hearty congratulations and best wishes to all the people of the state on the occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami. He said that Lord Vishnu’s avatar Shri Krishna has a special place among the gods and goddesses of Sanatana and Hinduism from the Dwapara Yuga till today. There is no corner of India where Lord Krishna is not worshiped under various names. Like in Rajasthan he is known as Sri Nathji, in Kerala as Guruvayur, in Karnataka as Chenna Keshav, in Maharashtra as Vitthal, in West Bengal as Muralidhar, in Andhra Pradesh as Govind, in Odisha as Jagannath, in Assam as Madhav, in Gujarat as Madhav. As Dwarkadhish, in Uttar Pradesh and Braj, he is worshiped by millions of religious people.

He said that Lord Sri Krishna is both Yogeshwar and Leeladhar, He is the charioteer of the Mahabharata in the struggle of justice against injustice and is also a diplomat. Sri Sri Krishna is the savior and also the Rasa Rasaiya. Sri Mada is a preacher of the mastery of karma in the form of Bhagavata Katha and Prajavatsla is in the form of King Dwarkadhish. Sri Krishna’s personality is as colorful as his activities. He is Bal Gopal and also Sudarshan Chakradhari. Compared to any other avatar, the way Sri Krishna connected with people through his actions makes him unique among divine powers.

We are lucky – Dr. Mohan Yadav

Madhya Pradesh is fortunate that Lord Krishna received education from Guru Sandipani in Ujjain. He received Sudarshan Chakra from Lord Parashuram in Janpav, Madhya Pradesh. Narayana village is the place of friendship between Sri Krishna and Sudama. Amzera in Dhar district is famous for the Sri Krishna-Rukmini incident, the government plans to develop all these places as pilgrimage sites. I believe he was Lord Krishna before coming to Madhya Pradesh, he became Sri Krishna only after receiving education here.

Celebrations in major monasteries and temples of the state

I am happy to inform that from this year, the Madhya Pradesh government has declared Janmashtami, the birth anniversary of Lord Sri Krishna, as an official public holiday and is being celebrated as Sri Sri Krishna Utsav on a grand scale. Janmashtami festival is being organized by identifying the main math temples of the state. The government will give these programs a grander shape. Development schemes like Vrindavan Gram and Geeta Bhavan will be worked on, linking them with Shri Krishnaji’s policy of economic development and social harmony.

Mars is from Janmashtami – Chief Minister

On the occasion of Janmashtami, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav served the mother cow in the gaushala at his residence and prayed for the welfare of the world. He said that Lord Krishna’s life is exemplary for everyone. It is our prayer that the holy festival of Janmashtami based on auspicious dates brings auspiciousness in everyone’s life.

The chief minister said that the auspiciousness of Mangal Tithi is determined by astronomical events, our fasts, festivals and celebrations are based only on Mangal Tithi. Today’s Tuesday is indicative of this. About 5100 years ago Lord Sri Krishna appeared in Rohini Nakshatra on Ashtami Tithi of Bhadrapada at 12 PM, a supernatural event.
