All these people ate wheat flour puris and pakoras on the night of 26th August i.e. Shri Krishna Janmashtami. All these people were admitted to the hospital. Looking at the situation, the DM of Mathura took notice of the matter and ordered the Food Safety Department to investigate the matter. After this, the department team took samples from five traders Rakesh Goyal, Amit Agarwal of Farah police station area, Ankur Agarwal of Raman Tower of Govind Nagar police station area of ​​Mathura, Naveen Agarwal near Birla Mandir and Brajwasi jaggery seller’s organization from Galla. Mice and squirrel droppings are found in flour
All these samples were tested at the food lab in Agra. Meanwhile, it was found that hygiene is not taken care of while grinding wheat flour. Buckwheat contained animal faeces and urine, yet was ground and marketed. Apart from rats and squirrels, faeces and urine of many other animals have also been found in this flour. Following this report, the food department has banned the sale of loose wheat flour with immediate effect.
