A case of match fixing has come to light in cricket that has enraged the fans of this game. Such a case also ends the desire to watch cricket. That is why the ICC has been looking into this issue seriously for the last few years. They do not hesitate to take such strict action. Meanwhile, it has come to light that there has been a lot of match fixing in the T20 World Cup. This has created a stir in the sports world. According to media reports, the former Kenyan player tried to contact the Ugandan player playing in the T20 World Cup tournament. As soon as the matter came to light, the ICC immediately put him under investigation. According to a PTI report, this incident took place in Chain Round, Guyana. The former Kenyan fast bowler tried to contact the Ugandan players through different numbers. Seeing the strict action of the ICC against match fixing, the Ugandan player informed the ACU officials about it through the site.

According to PTI sources, “The man was trying to trap the Ugandan player in his trap. Because it is easier to contact players from supporting countries than from big countries, but in this case, the player who was contacted immediately informed the ICC about it.” Under the ICC’s Anti-Corruption Code, failure to provide such information to the ICC is a crime. The case was detected in time and it was successfully stopped. Now it will be important to see what steps the ICC takes next.
