Martyr’s wife’s pain: Fought for justice for 16 years, now appeals to CM Yogi, what is the matter?

A case of arbitrariness of officials has come to light from Ambedkarnagar in Uttar Pradesh. A martyr’s wife is wandering from house to house due to the arbitrariness of Officer Shahi. The suffering of a widow woman wandering with tears in her eyes and a piece of paper in her hand will shock everyone. This woman is no ordinary woman. One is the wife of a martyred soldier who has been demanding her rights for 16 years. CM Yogi paid his respects from the platform but is yet to ensure the rights of the martyr’s wife.

The case is from Chandauli village in Tanda tehsil area. Raksha Ram Pathak, a resident of the village, was posted in the CRPF. Raksha Ram was martyred in the year 2005 when he was in Srinagar. The mortal body of martyr Raksha Ram was brought to his native village with full honours. A memorial was also built in his village in memory of the martyr.

The government gave 27 biswas of land

The administration announced to give the land to the martyr’s wife. In the year 2008, the administration leased 27 biswa land to Sundari Devi, wife of martyr Raksha Ram. A leased land in Khatauni was also registered in the name of Sita Sundari. Martyr’s wife Sita Sundari says that when the plot of land was given, it was marked as Dehi, but after some time the land was taken over by the forest department and trees were planted on it.

Martyr’s widow has been suffering for 16 years

Officer Shahi’s arbitrariness has made the martyr’s wife stumble from house to house. CM Yogi honored the martyr’s wife from the platform but she is forced to demand her rights at the doorstep of the officials. The martyr’s wife, who appealed to the CM, DM and SDM, is seeing disappointment from everywhere so far. The widow of a soldier who died protecting the country has been seeking her rights for 16 years.

Shaheed’s widow Sita Sundari said she has been wandering since 2008 to take possession of the leased land. Sundari Devi said that she has complained to CM Yogi three times. I have gone to DM and SDM many times but no hearing is happening. In this matter, SDM Tanda Mohan Lal Gupta said that this matter has come to his notice through the media. Tehsildar has been sent for investigation, further action will be taken after receiving the report.
