Captain Anshuman’s father asked for daughter-in-law Smriti’s marriage
Talking to the media, Ravi Pratap, father of martyred Captain Anshuman, said that he is ready to get his younger son married to Smriti. He said if Smriti wants to live in this house with Anshuman’s memories then she can stay. The martyred captain’s father said that his younger son is only 2 years younger than Smriti. Smriti is both daughter and daughter-in-law to this house. If she marries a younger son, they will send her away like a daughter.
Ravi Pratap said that he talked about marriage with his daughter-in-law while Smriti said that she is only 26 years old. His whole life is at stake now. Ever since Martyr Captain Anshuman was awarded Kirti Chakra, his parents have leveled several allegations against daughter-in-law Smriti. He also said that it has been a long time since the daughter-in-law left the house. He asked for time to collect himself. So much time passed that he did not return home nor did he say anything.
A son born to a younger son will hand over to him
The captain’s father also said that if he marries the younger son, he will hand over the child from the younger son to Smriti. Anshuman’s name will be written in the father’s column of that child. Whatever inheritance we will hand over to the child. Her father also said that we will accept whatever Smriti wants.
Changed home address
The father alleged that when he went to the Rashtrapati Bhavan, the address of Martyr Captain Anshuman’s house was changed. He said that he had opposed this too. Ravi Pratap said I had to hug Kirti Chakra. Not even allowed to touch me. I was stripped of my identity.
