Brother-in-law gets punished for marrying sister-in-law
The death of his brother and marriage to his widowed sister-in-law proved so costly to a man that he had to pay the price with his life. This incident is from Vaishali district of Bihar. Surprisingly, the people who killed this man were his own family members, who brutally killed the man and threw him in the garden. When the youth’s family members got information about the dead body, they immediately went to their daughter’s house and reported the incident to the police.
Police have sent the body for postmortem. The police are investigating the case and trying to find out the real reason behind the murder. The family members of the deceased say that she committed suicide by hanging, while the in-laws allege that the family members of the deceased killed her and dumped the body in the garden.

A younger brother-in-law who married his widowed sister-in-law has been sentenced to death. After the incident, the family members of the accused wrapped the body in a sheet and threw it in a garden about 500 meters away from the house. The incident took place in Sain village of Belsar police station in Vaishali district. The deceased was a resident of Sayan village. His name is Ram Kumar Mahato. Ram was married in Kishunpur Mohini village of Kudhani in Muzaffarpur district.
Rajkishore Singh married his daughter Neetu to Ram 8 years ago. Vikas Kumar, brother-in-law of the deceased, said that 10 years ago, his brother-in-law died in a road accident. After his brother’s death, Ram married his widowed sister-in-law.
Family members were against the marriage
After the death of her husband, Neetu had no partner to live such a grand life. She stayed at her in-laws house for two years. In this situation, Ram married his sister-in-law, but Ram’s family was not happy with the marriage of Ram and Neetu. The family members taunted the duo on every issue and left no stone unturned to harass them. Family members used to beat husband and wife. Tired of being tortured by his family members, Ram sent his wife to stay at his maternal uncle’s house and himself went to Nepal to work as a labourer.
Came home two days ago
Ram came to her house two days before the incident. There was a heated argument between the deceased and his family members over some issue. Ram’s in-laws allege that he has been murdered. The police are investigating the matter. The family members of the deceased said that he was staying with his in-laws. He has committed suicide by hanging himself. Police station chief Pankaj Kumar said that it is being investigated whether it is murder or suicide.
