A large number of IAS officers have been transferred in Bihar. Many of these IASs have received new charges. Many IAS who were waiting for their posting have got new responsibilities. General Administration Department has also issued a notification in this regard. Rajkumar, who was the District Magistrate of Bhojpur, will now be the Managing Director of Confed Patna. Pankaj Kumar, who was the DM of Shivhar, will now be the Director of Primary Education. Director Khan Nair Nair Iqbal has been made Special Secretary in the Department of Food and Consumer Protection while Jamui DM Rakesh Kumar will now be the Director of Consolidation.
Similarly, Mithilesh Mishra, director of midday meals, will now be the DM of Lakhisarai. Sasaram DM Naveen Kumar will now be the State Transport Commissioner. Araria DM Inayat Khan will be Registrar, Cooperation Committees. Sunil Kumar Yadav, Additional Secretary, Department of Urban Development and Housing, will now be Additional Secretary, Department of Labor Resources. While Samastipur District Magistrate Yogendra Singh will now be the Director of Secondary Education. He will also have the additional charge of Director, Mid-Day Meal.
Anand Sharma became the Director of Panchayati Raj Department of Bihar
Additional Secretary cum Additional Chief Electoral Officer, Election Department, Anand Sharma has been posted as Director, Panchayati Raj Bihar. Dr. Jitendra Gupta, awaiting posting, has been made Joint Secretary, Bihar State Planning Council. Vidyanand Singh, Deputy Director of Panchayati Raj, Patna Division, will now be the Director of Economics and Statistics, Planning and Development Department. Nalanda Settlement Officer Udita Singh will now be the District Magistrate of Rohtas. While Begusarai DM Roshan Kushwaha will now be the DM of Samastipur. Sanjay Kumar, awaiting posting, has been made Additional Secretary in the General Administration Department. Katihar Municipal Commissioner Kumar Mangalam will now be the Municipal Commissioner of Purna.
Sheohar Deputy Development Commissioner Atul Kumar Verma has been made administrator of Bihar State Road Transport Corporation. Sheikhpura District Magistrate J. Priyadarshini will now be Director of Land Records and Surveys, Revenue and Land Reforms Department. Kishanganj DM Tushar Singla will now be Begusarai DM. While Arwal District Magistrate Varsha Singh will now be Joint Secretary of Urban Development and Housing Department. Madhepura DM Vijay Prakash Meena has been made director of disability.
Tanay Sultania will be Ara’s new DM
Patna Deputy Development Commissioner cum Chief Executive Officer Tanay Sultania will now be the DM of Arah. While Taran Jot Singh, Director of Fisheries, Animal and Livestock Resources Department, will now be the DM of Madhepura. State Transport Commissioner Vishal Raj has been appointed as District Magistrate of Kishanganj. Arif Ahsan, Joint Secretary, Urban Development and Housing Department, will now be the District Magistrate of Sheikhpura. While Vivek Ranjan Maitreya, director of crafts and directorship, will now be the DM of Shivhar.
Darbhanga Municipal Commissioner Kumar Gaurav will now be the District Magistrate of Arwal. Anil Kumar, Project Director of Bihar AIDS Control Committee, has been made the District Magistrate of Araria. Gaya Municipal Commissioner Abhilash Sharma will now be the District Magistrate of Jammu. Bihar State Road Transport Administrator Abhay Kumar Jha will now be the Managing Director of Bihar State Text Book Publishing Corporation Limited.
Ashutosh Dwivedi Joint Secretary
Ashutosh Dwivedi, awaiting posting, will now be Joint Secretary, Building Construction Department, while Vaibhav Srivastava, awaiting posting, has been made Director, Information and Public Relations Department. Vinod Duhan will now become Director Khan. Abhishek Ranjan, who is still on the ballot, has been made Director of Department of Fisheries, Animal and Fish Resources. Waiting for posting, Shekhar Anand has been made Director, Technical Development, Industries Department, Nikhil Dhanraj Nipanikar has been made Director, Handicrafts and Silk Directorate, Industries Department, Nitin Kumar Singh has been made Director, Agriculture Department.

At the same time, Sahila, who is awaiting posting, has been made Joint Secretary, Disaster Management Department. Pratibha Rani, awaiting posting, has been made Project Director, Bihar AIDS Control Committee. Sameer Saurabh, DDC cum Chief Executive Officer, Motihari has now been made DDC Patna cum Chief Executive Officer.
Kumar Anurag, who is awaiting transfer, will now become the Municipal Commissioner. Gunjan Singh, who is still awaiting transfer, has been made officer on special duty in the health department, while Manoj Kumar, additional secretary in the urban development and housing department, has now been posted in the rural affairs department.
