Prime Minister Narendra Modi today made a special mention of Madhya Pradesh in All India Radio’s weekly program Mann Ki Baat. Prime Minister Modi said that the historic work of planting lakhs of saplings simultaneously has been done in Indore, the main city of the state. Prime Minister Modi said that a program called ‘Ek Peed Ma’ was discussed in the Gat Mann Ki Baat programme.
He said his appeal had a good effect. The PM said that the Ek Peed Ma Ke Naam campaign has been taken forward in many parts of the country. People have taken up this task seriously. Meanwhile he took the name of Indore. He said that a wonderful and inspiring program took place in Indore city, which has created a distinct identity for cleanliness in the country.

Tree plantation gave a good message
He mentioned that lakhs of saplings were planted in a single day and at the same time during the Ek Pedre Ma Ka Naam programme. This has sent a good message to people. Prime Minister Modi once again appealed to the citizens that every citizen of the country should join this campaign to plant trees in the name of his mother. Also post plantation selfies on social media so that others can get inspired and join the campaign.
PM Modi said that by joining this campaign, citizens will definitely feel that they have done something special for both their mother and mother earth. Saplings are being continuously planted in Madhya Pradesh under the Ek Peed Ma Ka Naam campaign.
MP ministers, MPs are participating
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav and all his cabinet ministers, MPs, MLAs and all other public representatives are participating in this tree plantation program and taking it forward. Apart from them, employees-officials, senior citizens and youth are also actively participating in the Ek Pad Ma Ke Naam Abhiyan.
On the other hand, a meeting of the Council of Chief Ministers was held on the second day today in the central BJP office under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and in the special presence of BJP National President JP Nadda Ji, Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah. Shah Ji, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav appointed Deputy Chief Minister in partnership with Jagdish Deora and Rajendra Shukla.
