Manish Sisodia got bail yesterday i.e. Friday in the money laundering case related to the Delhi liquor scam. The Supreme Court granted bail to him with conditions. He came out of Tihar Jail that evening. He was released after about 17 months. After coming out of jail, Sisodia said that he got bail because of the strength of the constitution and democracy. He thanked the Supreme Court. Sisodia said that I am grateful to the Supreme Court, which used the power of the Constitution to strike down the dictatorship. We took this legal battle to its logical conclusion constitutionally. After his release from jail, Sisodia met Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s wife and other family members. Sisodia will leave for Rajghat at 9.30 am today. After this they will go to the Hanuman temple in Connaught Place and worship. After this we will reach the party office.
