No trace of IGL Manager found yet
More than a week has passed since IGL manager Pawan Shah went missing from the Yamuna Bridge in Geeta Colony in capital Delhi, but Delhi Police’s hands are still empty in the matter. On the night of September 4, the Noida Resident Manager’s car was found abandoned on the bridge. Children playing around the bridge told the police that a man got out of the car and jumped into the Yamuna river. However, apart from this, the police do not have any information. The body of the person who jumped into the river is yet to be found by the police.
When senior police officers reached the spot, they found the window glass of Pawan’s car smashed with a brick. Also his phone was not there. After this, the FSL team was called to the spot in addition to the crime team and the car was sent to the police station for investigation. Even after 8 days, the police say that the missing manager is suspected to have committed suicide.
Pawan was last seen at Yamuna bridge
Police claim that Pawan was last seen at this Yamuna Bridge in Geeta Colony. Police have so far claimed that Pawan was going to Faridabad from the Yamuna Bridge following the theory that someone had jumped from the bridge. However, surprisingly, they have not found any body yet. Pawan’s mobile and some belongings are also missing from the abandoned car found on the bridge. The police have arrested two people in the case and started questioning them, but neither the mobile phone nor the body of the youth have been found yet.
IGL manager missing since September 4
Pawan is 46 years old and works in Indraprastha Power Generation Company Limited. According to information received from the Delhi Police, Pawan left the office in his car at 2.30 pm on September 4 without informing. He did not answer anyone’s calls after 7:20 p.m. The last call from Pawan’s phone was to his mother in which he asked for food and the conversation was normal. The incident happened when it was dark at night. Young children playing around the scene said that someone got out of the car and jumped into the Yamuna, although it is not yet clear if the person who jumped was Pawan.
Police are empty handed in search of Pawan
According to the police, some unidentified miscreants broke the windows of the car with a brick and stole the mobile phone. Both the suspects have been taken into custody and their interrogation continues, but no trace of the mobile phone has been found yet. On the other hand, Pawan’s family is also in a bad condition and is crying. Frustrated with the Delhi Police, Pawan’s friends and family have started a campaign on social media. Efforts are being made to locate Pawan by running the hashtag #search4pawan. In Pawan’s house are his elderly parents, wife and two young children. According to friends, Pawan Shah is a lively person. He cannot make a wrong move. Currently, the police have not found anything concrete in their search for Pawan.
