Ghaziabad police have arrested Daksh Chaudhary, who became famous for slapping Congress party’s Lok Sabha candidate Kanhaiya Kumar during election campaigning in Delhi. He has been arrested for making vulgar comments against the people of Ayodhya on social media following the election results and the defeat of the BJP candidate on the Faizabad seat in Ayodhya district. Tila Mode Police Station of the district has arrested Daksh Chaudhary along with his partner Annu Chaudhary.

Ghaziabad police have registered a case against both. The police have registered a case under section 295A and 504 against both. Both the accused have been arrested by Tila Ka Mode Police Station. Giving information, ACP Shalimar Garden Siddharth Gautam said that both have been arrested. He has been arrested for hurting the religious sentiments of voters.

Using abusive language against Ayodhya residents

Accused Daksh Chaudhary, who lives in Tila Mode Police Station area, is also associated with the Hindu Raksha Dal (HRD). In the viral video, the accused Daksh Chaudhary is using vulgar language with the people of Ayodhya over the defeat of Bharatiya Janata Party candidate from Faizabad seat in Ayodhya district. Daksha has a long association with controversies. Earlier, he came into the limelight by slapping Congress candidate Kanhaiya Kumar from North East Delhi.

On the day of Shab-e-Barat, he broke into the mosque and created a ruckus

Daksh Chaudhary created a ruckus on the occasion of Shab-e-Barat in February 2024. He entered Madina Masjid at Garima Garden in Tila Mode Police Station area wearing shoes along with his two accomplices. At that time the people of the Muslim community were offering namaz in the mosque. The police registered a case against him under sections 153A, 295, 295A, 323, 504, 506 of the IPC.
