A heartbreaking incident has come to light from Dombivli, Maharashtra. It is alleged that the mother-in-law and husband tortured the girl so much for the dowry that she committed suicide out of boredom. The incident took place in Manpada Police Station area of ​​Dombivli. Here Gajanan Varde got his daughter Jagurthina married to Sagar Ramlal Bari of Jalgaon on 20 April 2024. Even after receiving a gold chain and ring from her in-laws during the wedding, Jagurti’s mother-in-law Shobha Ramlal was not happy and started torturing the girl for dowry.

Gajanan Varde got his daughter Jagurthina married to Sagar Ramlal Bari, a Mumbai policeman. According to Gajanan, during the marriage, he gave a gold chain weighing 14 grams and a gold ring weighing 6 grams as dowry to his daughter’s in-laws. Meanwhile, when he and his wife reached his in-laws to meet his daughter a few days after the wedding, her mother-in-law demanded Rs 10 lakh including dowry to buy a house in Mumbai.
On July 5, Jagurti’s husband Sagar called her brother Vishal and said that her sister had committed suicide by hanging herself from a fan. After which parents and some relatives reached his in-laws. When he went there, he found the dead body of his daughter in the house. After this, a case was registered in the police station against husband Sagar Bari and mother-in-law Shobha Bari.

A suicide note was found in the phone
When the deceased’s sister unlocked her phone password, she found a suicide note in which she blamed her mother-in-law and husband for the suicide. Manpada police have registered a case based on that suicide note.
