Maharashtra Budget 2024: What is Chief Minister’s Youth Work Training Scheme which provides educational stipend of 10 thousand rupees?

State Economy Minister Ajit Pawar today announced the Chief Minister’s Youth Work Training Scheme while presenting the supplementary budget for the year 2024-25. “Every year 11 lakh students take degrees from various educational institutions. The number of diploma students is huge. If they work in industrial sector they can get employment. CM Yuva Karya Training Yojana will be launched every year to provide direct work experience to 10 lakh youth,” Ajit Pawar announced.

“For this, the government will provide an educational stipend of Rs 10,000 per month to the students. For this, a provision of Rs 10 thousand crores will be made every year. For this, 50 thousand youth will be given job training every year. To convey the information of government schemes to the people, Chief Minister Yuva 50 thousand youth will be trained every year under the work training scheme,” said Ajit Pawar.

Selection of 95 thousand 478 candidates for the job

500 Industrial Training Institutes, Model ITI Global Skill Center, Maharashtra State Skill University, EKA Center used for human development, empowerment and entrepreneurship development programs will be implemented under the Knowledge and Skill Development Project. In 2023-24, 95 thousand 478 candidates have been selected for jobs, an office employment center has been established at Govandi, Mumbai. Sarathi, Barti and other social organizations will be given large grants to carry out 511 major training programs and educational work in rural areas of the state.
