Fatal attack on Shiv Sena leader by Nihang Sikhs

On Friday morning, Shiv Sena Taksali leader Sandeep Thapar was attacked by some Nihangas in Ludhiana, Punjab. Sandeep Thapar was seriously injured in this attack. The police immediately identified the Nihang Sikhs and started searching for them. The police arrested the accused Nihang Sikhs within 6 hours of the incident. A heart-wrenching video of the incident has also surfaced in which Nihang is seen attacking Sikh Sandeep Thapar with a sword.

The Nihang Sikhs who attacked Shiv Sena Taksali leader Sandeep Gora Thapar have been caught by the police within 6 hours of the incident. Police said the Mahalwars have been arrested from Fatehgarh Sahib. The police will soon reveal the entire matter.

The attack on the Shiv Sena leader had created an uproar in the political streets of Punjab. Many leaders have commented sharply on the sword attack on Shiv Sena Taksali leader Sandeep Gora Thapar. Former Punjab Deputy CM Sukhbir Singh Badal of Shiromani Akali Dal has said that a violent incident took place in Ludhiana in which a person was attacked with a sword despite police protection. Questioning the rule of the ruling Aam Aadmi Party, he said that such incidents are increasing in the Aam Aadmi Party government. But, CM Bhagwant Mann is unaware of the situation.

Punjab BJP President Sunil Jakhar has termed this attack as reprehensible. Sandeep Thapar has said that the incident in the middle of the market has exposed the law and order situation in the state under the leadership of the Punjab government. He has demanded strict action from the state government against the culprits of the attack. Meanwhile, the Minister of State in the Central Government S. Ravneet Singh Bittu said that law in Punjab has become a joke. He said that the people are scared because of this attack in Ludhiana.
