A three-storey building collapsed in Lucknow

The building where the accident took place in Lucknow’s Transport Nagar was constructed 8 years ago. A formal plan was drawn up for its construction and a map was also passed from Lucknow Development Authority in the year 2010 as per this plan. Then the construction work of this building started in the next year i.e. 2011 and this building was completed in the year 2015-16. After checking the quality of this building, the completion certificate was given in the year 2020 by the authority.

The building has since been rented out. Despite following all the rules of building construction, the building did not stand on its foundation for ten years. A question has arisen regarding the structure of the building. Due to which the work of Lucknow Development Authority itself has also been surrounded. Immediately after the accident, the Lucknow Development Authority has started investigating the matter. Let us tell you that this three storied building collapsed on Saturday in which 8 people working inside the building died.

The map was released in the name of Kumkum Singhal

At the same time, 28 people have been seriously injured. According to information received from Lucknow Development Authority, the building map was passed on 31 August 2010 by Kumkum Singhal, resident of Samar Vihar, Alambagh. For this the authority had issued permit number-29474. According to Atul Krishna Singh, Zonal Officer of Enforcement Zone-2 for the authority, the construction of this building has been completed. It is suspected that there was negligence in the construction of this building, which was built on an area of 1000 square meters. The big question is why Lucknow Development Authority officials overlooked this problem while checking the quality.
