Today i.e. on September 4, Deputy Mayor of Delhi Ale Mohammad Iqbal expressed the opinion of the party and said that the party is taking a legal opinion on this decision of the Home Ministry and is thinking of going to the Supreme Court.

What new rights did you get?

According to the gazette issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Delhi LG will now have the power to constitute any authority, board, commission or any statutory body. In addition, he may appoint any Government officer or ex-officio member to any such authority, commission and body. For this he will get the powers of the President under Section 45 of the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi Act.

The controversy may escalate
