In fact, on July 4, 16-year-old Riya Patel, studying in class 11, was at her grandparents’ house in Kulon village in Chargawan police station area. Meanwhile, Yashwant Patel entered her house and started talking to Rhea. During the conversation, the young man took out a knife and stabbed him in the neck. Riya fell in the courtyard of the house in a bloody condition, after which the family took the injured Riya to a medical hospital. Where he told the family that Yashwant had committed rape. He died before medical attention could reach him. On the other hand, after carrying out the incident, the accused Yashwant fled towards the dense forest adjacent to the village.

According to the police, shortly after the attack, when the girl was lying injured in the courtyard of the house, her aunt was the first to see her and before dying, the deceased named the accused Yashwant Patel. He stated that Yashwant had attacked him with a knife. Deceased Riya Patel and accused Yashwant Patel knew each other. The accused lived near the minor’s house and supported his family by selling ice cream and balls. Police have gathered information based on the call details that Riya and Yashwant were talking to each other on phone for a long time, according to the police, there was also a romantic relationship between the two.
