A case of love jihad has come to light in Banda, Uttar Pradesh. Where a Muslim youth lured a Hindu girl into his love trap and raped her. The young man also pressured the girl to marry him and change her religion, but when the girl was not ready for this, the young man tried to kill her by throwing her down a flyover.
The case is of Banda Nagar Kotwali area. Where a Hindu girl was pulled out from under the Kalu Kuan flyover with serious injuries and admitted to a trauma centre. According to the victim and her family members, a Muslim youth named Salman used to talk to the victim about love jihad. When the victim refused to talk to him, he started blackmailing her. The youth was threatening to make his objectionable photos and videos viral.
He was called to the room and raped
The victim said that the youth called her to her room last night, during which her friend was also present in the room with the youth. The accused lover first raped the victim and then with the help of his friend took her to the top of the flyover and threw her down. The family members said that the accused Salman was constantly blackmailing the victim and his family members were also involved in this.

Currently the injured victim was taken to a trauma center where he is undergoing treatment. The condition of the victim is said to be critical. Police have registered a case on the family’s complaint and arrested the main accused, while the search is on for his other accomplice. In this case, SP Ankur Agarwal says that the victim was at her house with the accused friend at night.
The Vishwa Hindu Parishad has demanded strict action
Meanwhile, Vishwa Hindu Parishad district president Chandramohan Bedi alleged that since this is a case of love jihad, strict provisions should be enforced and strict action should be taken against the accused. He says that the local police and the district administration are negligent in this matter. Chandra Mohan Bedi has demanded from the Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath that immediate action should be taken in this matter.
