Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar
Actress and TV host Shibani Dandekar joined Rhea Chakraborty’s podcast ‘Chapter 2’ along with her husband Farhan Akhtar. Meanwhile, both of them openly talked about their relationship. While answering Rhea’s questions, Shibani broke her silence on the negative comments she received after her relationship with Farhan. Shibani said she always hears things like gold diggers and love jihad. However, he said that these things did not matter to him.
Shibani says, “When I started a relationship with Farhan, people used to say these two things to me, ‘Love Jihad and Gold Digger’. What should I do about this? People say these things about me, so I wasn’t going to cry. I am not a gold digger (greedy). The truth of the matter is that he is from a Muslim family and I am from a Hindu family. We are married and we are very happy with our marriage. This is the truth of our case. So let people say whatever they want about us, that’s it.

First love and then marriage
Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar dated each other for almost three years. Meanwhile their love was not hidden from anyone. Farhan and Shibani were spotted together everywhere. On 19 February 2022, Farhan and Shibani got married at Khandawa Farmhouse in the presence of family members and close friends. Both have been married for more than two years.
Shibani is Farhan Akhtar’s second wife. Earlier, Farhan was married to celebrity hairstylist Adhuna Bhabani. Both made each other their partners in 2000. However, in 2017, the two divorced and divorced each other. Farhan and Adhuna also have two daughters Shakya and Akira.
