Shivamanath alias Sanwar Hussain.
In Bijnour, Uttar Pradesh, a youth from another community cheated people for five months and hurt the religious sentiments of the people. A young man named Samwar Hussain lived as a priest in a temple here. He told people his name was Pujari Shivamanath. First he came as a Jogi in Tipperjot village of Sherkot. He told people that he had been a priest in Nagina temple. As there was no priest in Tipperjot village, people made Shivamanath the priest of the Shiva temple here.
On Saturday, a village youth asked the priest Shivmanath for an Aadhaar card to vote. At first the priest hesitated. But the youth said that he has to show his Aadhaar card. After much insistence, Shivnath gave the Aadhaar card in the name of Afsar Ali’s son Sanwar Hussain. The address of Udham Singh Nagar (Uttrakhand) was written on it. Seeing the Aadhaar card, the young man lost his senses. He told this to the villagers.
Everyone was surprised to know the truth of the priest. Then the fake priest said – I am a resident of Rampur. Six years ago, my family and I left the Muslim religion and embraced Hinduism. Now I am only a Hindu. My family members have also become Hindus. He lives in Rampur. Then people called his family. Sanwar’s brother said – Sanwar had adopted Hinduism six years ago. From then on he started living with sages. Began to pray. He occasionally comes to Rampur to meet his family.

Then people searched the priest’s bag. Three or four pictures of Sanavar were also found in it, in which he was seen offering prayers in a shrine. After learning about Sanwar Hussain, who had left the Muslim religion and became a priest, the villagers informed the Sherkot police about this. Police brought Pujari Shivmanath alias Sanwar Hussain to Sherkot Police Station and questioned him. An inquiry was conducted from the police stations of Rampur district regarding the conduct and criminal record of Sanwar Hussain. But no criminal case has been registered against Sanawar in Rampur district.
What did the CO of Dhampur say?
Dhampur CO Anjani Kumar said – Sanavwar has been found to have left the Muslim religion and embraced Hinduism in the year 2018. But he has no criminal history. As a precautionary measure, Sanwar Hussain alias Shivam Nath is also being investigated from Bijnor police stations. Apart from this, information will also be collected from the address written on the Aadhaar card, Udham Singh Nagar.
