Shiv Sena leader Ravindra Waikar has won from the North West Mumbai seat. He won by just 48 votes. Now, two independent candidates have lodged a complaint at the Vanrai Police Station alleging that Ravindra Waikar won. Bharat Shah of Hindu Samaj Party and Surinder Arora Mohan of Janadhar Party have lodged this complaint against Ravindra Waikar. Bharat Shah has said that the police is not taking action, but if the police does not take action, he will go to court. Meanwhile, he has also demanded that action should be taken in this regard before Ravindra Waikar takes oath. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde had faith in Ravindra Waikar and declared him as the candidate from the North West constituency. Gajanan Kirtikar’s son Amol Kirtikar was in the fray against him. So there was talk that this fight would be tough for both. Ultimately, in the counting of votes, Ravindra Waikar won the Lok Sabha elections by a margin of just 48 votes.
