Delhi government has announced the list of dry days

Excise department of Delhi government has announced the list of dry days. According to which four dry days have been declared from July to September i.e. in the next three months. All liquor shops will be closed on Independence Day i.e. 15th August. Besides, there are still three days when the liquor shops will be closed. The Delhi government releases a list of dry days every three months.

According to the list, four dry days have been announced in the next three months. After August 15, Janmashtami festival will be celebrated on Monday, August 26. In such a situation, this day will also be a dry day. That means another dry day will come in 12 days. Talking about the month of July, liquor shops will be closed on 17th July i.e. Wednesday. On this day, the festival of the Muslim community is Muharram. That means liquor shops will be completely closed for one day in July and 2 days in August.

The Delhi government has issued an order

As for the next dry day, the festival of Eid Milad-un-Nabi is on September 26. Prophet Muhammad’s birth anniversary will be celebrated on this day. Excise department has decided to keep liquor shops closed on this day as well. The Delhi government has issued an order on July 3. Accordingly, four dry days have been declared for the month of July to September in the National Capital Region (NCT) in view of religious and festivals.
