Let us tell you that after hearing the arguments of the ED and the defense on Thursday, the court reserved its order. Currently, after getting bail, now CM Kejriwal’s lawyers can pay the bail bond today, after which he will be released from Tihar Jail. On the other hand, ED is also likely to challenge this order in the high court in the coming days.

An opportunity to attack the Modi government

Also, if Kejriwal gets regular bail, the Aam Aadmi Party and its allies will get a chance to attack the Modi government. Because as per Section 45 of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, bail can be granted only when the judge prima facie finds that the accused has not committed the offence.
