Similarly, many parts of Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh are on yellow alert for rain. There are indications of drizzle in some parts of Delhi NCR and light rain in some parts.
According to India Meteorological Department’s Delhi Centre, the entire NCR will remain cloudy throughout the day and light rain may occur in the afternoon. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather may remain a little hot till afternoon, but the evening will be pleasant. According to the report, the minimum temperature in Delhi was recorded at 24.4 degrees Celsius on Wednesday. The maximum temperature is likely to be around 34 degrees. On the other hand, if the report of the Jaipur center of the Meteorological Department is to be believed, there is a possibility of heavy rain in Bharatpur division of the state.
Rain in Rajasthan for next three days
Similarly, Alwar and Jaipur may receive light to moderate rain at some places. According to the forecast issued by the Meteorological Department, the depression prevailing over Jharkhand has now started moving towards Chhattisgarh. Its effect can be seen in eastern Rajasthan for two-three days. Due to this, light to moderate rain may occur in Jaipur, Bharatpur, Kota, Ajmer and Udaipur divisions on September 18. Similarly, there will be heavy rain in Bharatpur division in these three days. This situation can also happen on September 19. However, most areas of Jodhpur and Bikaner division will remain dry on September 18 and 19.

The hilly states of Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh as well as Ladakh are troubled due to continuous rains and landslides. 54 roads have been blocked in Himachal Pradesh alone. According to India Meteorological Department’s Lucknow centre, there are flood conditions in many parts of the state. Almost all the rivers are strained. Two people have lost their lives due to drowning in Fatehpur and Rae Bareli in the last 24 hours. River Ganga is flowing at Kachla Bridge (Badaun), Ghazipur, Ballia and Fatehgarh, while the Ghaghra is raging at Elgin Bridge (Barabanki), (Turtipar), Ballia and Ayodhya. According to the report, currently 24 districts of the state namely Lakhimpur Kheri, Gonda, Sitapur, Farukhabad, Bahraich, Barabanki, Badaun, Ballia, Azamgarh, Gorakhpur, Ayodhya, Varanasi, Prayagraj and Gautam Budh Nagar are in the grip of floods. Due to this flood, 14 people have died so far.
