A woman has died after being attacked by a leopard in Udaipur

Leopards are so feared in Udaipur that sometimes they roam fearlessly in people’s bedrooms and sometimes in girls’ hostels for hours. The latest case has also come to light from here, where a woman was killed in a leopard attack. Meanwhile, two other women have been injured.
A woman was killed and two others injured in a leopard attack in Rajasthan’s Udaipur district on Saturday. Police officials said the women had gone to collect firewood near a hilly area in Zadol, where the leopard attacked them. The leopard dragged the woman for one and a half kilometers and she died.

The women went to collect firewood near the hilly area of ​​Zadol. Meanwhile the panther hunted the woman in such a way that her torso was separated from her head. The woman killed in the leopard attack is Meera, aged around 40 years. While two women who were with him were also injured in this attack.
At the same time, when the local people came to know about this, they got angry. Their anger is justified as the people here often fall prey to leopard attacks. On getting the information, these people gathered on the highway near the hills. They blocked the Udaipur-Ahmedabad highway in protest against the incident. and remained firm on the demand for the killing of the leopard and financial compensation.
Villagers upset, blame officials
Villagers are upset over frequent leopard attacks in Zadol, Udaipur district. They allege that the authorities are failing to prevent these incidents. Villagers here have been victims of such accidents before. But no concrete action has been taken by the police and administration.
