The Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh has taken a big decision. Now people can register their property online sitting at home. Online registry system has been started on the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Under this new system, online property registry facility will be available in entire Uttar Pradesh. People can do their registration sitting at home. They will not need to visit the Sub-Registrar office in the Tehsil.

State Stamp and Registration Minister Ravindra Jaiswal said about the e-registry scheme that under the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Yogi government is ready to provide maximum facilities to the general public of the state through online means. He said that now there is no need to go to the registrar’s office to register the property.

Facility started in government departments

Minister Ravindra Jaiswal said that now it has been started from government departments. E-registry has been allowed in all state authorities and all departments dealing with property including housing development. Uttar Pradesh has become the second state in the country to initiate this. Till now the facility of e-registry was available only in Maharashtra.

Minister Ravindra Jaiswal said that the existing registry process has been simplified for common people. With this we will be able to make the registry process more transparent. He said that this decision of the state government will bring great relief to the people of the state. The number of civil cases in courts will decrease and happiness and prosperity will increase in families.

Which property will have an online registry now?

It is very challenging to register plots or houses allotted by all the property related departments including Development Authority, Housing Development, Industrial Authority not only in Uttar Pradesh but across the country. First the allotment letter is issued, then the concerned department nominates the officer for the registry. Only when the officer and the allottee can find time to go to the registrar’s department at the same time, the registration process is complete. Now we have got relief from this trouble.

All registrars will digitally sign

Now after the allotment letter is issued, the authorized officer of the department will himself do the online registration. As soon as the records are filed online, the documents will reach the registry office in digital form. There, all registrars will put a digital signature after checking. After this will come back to the e-registry department. The deed will reach the allottee online through email.

When will be the online application?

If you want a copy of the deed, you have to go with it to the Registrar’s Office, where you will get a copy of the deed. Online application for registry can be done 24 hours a day, but registration will be completed during office hours only. Please check properly before applying online for registration, as corrections will not be allowed after filing. Stamp fee for registry will also be deposited digitally.
