Preparations are underway to increase the circle rate of land in Ayodhya. People of Ayodhya have been demanding this for a long time. The reason behind the BJP’s defeat in the Lok Sabha elections was also attributed to the lack of proper compensation. Now after seven years, preparations are underway to increase the circle rate of land from 50 to 200 percent in Ayodhya. The circle rate was last increased in the year 2017.
Along with the construction of the Ram temple, the government has taken hundreds of acres of land from the people to build an airport, bus stand and roads in Ayodhya. But since the circle rate is low, these people did not get proper compensation. While the market price of land in Ayodhya is sky high. People of Ayodhya are angry with the government for not getting compensation.
A proposal has been prepared to increase the circle rate in Ayodhya. For this, objections on the proposed rates have been sought till September 4. After this the circle rate will be decided and announced to the public. Ayodhya Division Commissioner Gaurav Dayal said that two meetings have been held in this regard. A final decision regarding the circle rate will be taken after the objections are settled.
