Kolkata rape-murder case: Junior doctors returned to work today after 42 days, ending the protest after their demands were met.

Junior doctors demanding justice in Kolkata doctor rape murder case have started working from today. Today, after 42 days, they have returned to their respective jobs. After several rounds of talks with West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, the doctors decided to call off the strike on Friday and said they would return to work from Saturday.

After this, doctors have started working in essential and emergency services of all hospitals from today but they are not working in OPDs. To this the doctors say that they have partially returned to work, so they will not work in OPDs, they will work only for essential and emergency services.
