RG Kar is tightening its grip on former principal Sandeep Ghosh over the Kolkata rape case. On Friday, the Enforcement Directorate team raided Sandeep Ghosh’s close relatives in the RG Tax corruption case. After the raid, Sandeep Ghosh’s close aide and Prasun Chatterjee, a data entry operator at the National Medical College, has been taken into custody.
Prasoon Chatterjee was found at the crime scene after the rape and murder of a trainee doctor on August 9. Prasun Chatterjee’s presence in the viral video was also questioned. Questions were raised as to how and why he went to RG Kar Hospital on the day of the incident despite being a data entry operator at the National Medical College by profession. He was taken into custody after his house was searched for about 7 hours since Friday morning.
Sandeep Ghosh, the former principal of RG Cars, is also accused of corruption. Questions are being raised about Prasun Chatterjee’s relationship with Sandeep Ghosh.

Prasun Chatterjee has a three-storey house in Subhashgram, South 24 Parganas district. ED officials searched his house on Friday. Locals allege that Prasoon Chatterjee’s wealth has increased significantly over the past few years.
Prasun Chatterjee called himself Sandeep Ghosh’s PA. Although he was employed in the National Medical College, but after going to the National Medical College he used to write his name in the register book and then left. It is alleged that even on the day of the incident, his signature was in the register of the National Medical College.

CBI has found evidence of corruption during the investigation in the case of rape and murder of a trainee doctor in RG car. Sandeep Ghosh has already been arrested on this charge. And this time the ED took action. Searches are being conducted in several places since Friday morning.
The central agency also raided Sandeep Ghosh’s house and in-law’s house. ED has detained Prasun Chatterjee for the first time in this case. When Prasun Chatterjee was detained by the ED officials, some locals raised slogans saying ‘We want justice’.
