There is no sign of abating for former principal Sandeep Ghosh, who has been embroiled in the Kolkata rape case and allegations of financial irregularities at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital. A notice issued by the West Bengal Medical Council said that the council had sent him a show-cause notice on September 6, but had not received a reply even after 13 days.
The notice states that In the absence of his reply, the Medical Council has removed his name from the Register of Registered Medical Practitioners. Registration number of Sandeep Ghosh was 52497 in West Bengal Medical Council. Its registration has been cancelled.
Let us tell you that after the rape and murder of a lady doctor at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital on August 9, Sandeep Ghosh was facing evidence tampering charges. Allegations are being made by junior doctors and parents of the deceased. Along with this, CBI was also investigating the case of corruption in RG Tax.

Sandeep Ghosh resigned from the post of principal of RG Kar Medical College and Hospital after the Kolkata rape case came to light. He was later made the Principal of the National Medical College, but when this was disputed, he was appointed OSD in the Health Department, but was suspended following the CBI allegations.
